The Produce Tractability Initiative (PTI) uses a Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) to identify produce sold around the world. This function calculates the check digit for GTIN-14 numbers.

I need something that will just calculate the checkdigit number when inputting the 13 digits before. I'm still new to Filemaker Pro but I have this working in Excel. Help?

Not sure if I follow. Are you following the GTIN-14 structure?

I ran into an issue where my client was issues a 9 digit Company Prefix (only 000-999 serial numbers). But the function got me on the right track when accounting for this and offsetting CompanyPrefix and SerialNo. Thanks!
