Your sample output isn't accurate, strictly speaking. You would need to enclose everything in the Upper() function to get upper case letters. Also, this would be made a whole lot more useful as a custom function if you accepted a date as a function parameter. Then you could get the 3 digit abbreviation for any date you wanted, instead of just the current date. Something like this: Upper(Left(MonthName(TheDate); 3))
