Is there a reason to use case() ? Set auto-enter calculation as Evaluate ( GetAsText ( self ) )

I wanted it to pass through the number when it's a number and process the calculation only when there are characters other than numbers. How does your Evaluate approach handle simply numbers? Do you think I was overthinking the solution?
