Let ( [ digits = Filter ( number ; "0123456789" ) ; len = Length ( digits ) ] ; Case ( len > 10 ; "+" & Left ( digits ; len-10 ) & " " & PhoneFormat ( Right ( digits ; 10 ) ) ; len = 10 ; "(" & Left ( digits ; 3 ) & ") " & PhoneFormat ( Right ( digits ; 7 ) ) ; len = 7 ; Left ( digits ; 3 ) & "-" & Right ( digits ; 4 ) ; digits ) ) Click to copy

Filters out any non-numeric digits, then formats according to the length of the number, recursing smaller chunks back to itself.
