Displays text "NEW!" if record was created within a specified number of days from today's date.

Sample input:

RecordIsNew("1/1/07", 3)

Sample output:

NEW! (if actual date is 1/2/07)

Function definition: (Copy & paste into FileMaker's Edit Custom Function window)

If ((Get ( CurrentDate )-CreatedDate) <ExpirationDays; "NEW!"; "" )

This may be used to flag a record as NEW! in a list. Has possibilities for display on the web as well.
