Windows Error 4339

ERROR_NO_SUPPORTING_DRIVES: This offline media cannot be mounted on this system since no enabled drives are present which can be used.

In my computer there are 14 drives. i connected a USB harddisc which is having 14 drives. then i removed the same and connected my pen drive. its not get detected which had been detected earlier. error 4339 only i got when i tried to mount the drive. how to recover from this?
