FileMaker Error 18

Client must provide account information to proceed

After receiving this error code data in a file was not visible. All records were still in tact but text in fields were not visible. I could still perform scripts like add an invoice for a customer and the customer ID would transfer but even in the related files the customer name and address information would not show up.
